he claim that 136 hp on 2 wheels is far from fast… try finding out what i mean before you post that im a dick
lmao what a stupid advert. the rsv1000r is not the fastest track bike. its nowhere near, ducati desmocidicis are or ducati 1098. or any of the Jap inline 4's with a good rider on board.

Using your #'s 182 / 4 = 45.5hp per piston
143 / 2 = 71.5hp per piston. Do you REALLY want to make this a fair fight?
Now, with the twin, you get less moving parts, prolly better efficiency, prolly some less weight but I won't get into that since Aprilia doesn't list wet and Yami doesn't list dry…One hell of a smooth powerband….and prolly some other things, but I'm going to stop embarrassing you here.

Don't compare inline 4 cylinders to V-twins. Sure the 4's have higher power outputs and scream like f1 cars.
But who cares? V-twins have soul..and you'll never undersand if you don't have one.
Most riders out there can't exploit anything more than 100hp anyway.
ive owned and still own a high reving yamaha inline 4 that makes massive power, but i prefer to ride the V-twin. Give me a ducati monster anyday.

Good god there is a lot of stupidity in this thread. i4 litre engines stomp 2-cyl engines of the same displacement, period. These days i4s make as much torque AND they have a higher rev range so they can be geared to get even more to the wheel.
None of which matters if you want a v-twin. I have had two GSX-R 1000s and own a GSX-R 750 right now. I bought a Tuono 1000R - because it stirs the soul and makes me laugh when i ride it, not because it makes my dick bigger by having ultimate power.
True but it's not the whole story. Also, some people don't ride bikes just for top speed/performance. They ride for character.

dude if you would only once drive on top speed in 4th gear with a rsv (on main roads) youdd be a chosen one the experience, so DO NOT claim thats its not fast, because it is! (its just not the fastest…)
nowadays the stock aprilia 1000cc supersport has not even near he same power a stock 1000cc yamaha supersport, if you go to the main website ul find out that RSV1000 has 143 HP at 10,000 rpm.
and the yamaha has 182 bhp at 12.500 rpm

Did you mean Japanese? Anyway, I don't think this commercial is about Japanese bikes, I believe it's about a nice Italian bike that's more than mere numbers, but let's face it, Aprilias just are not the fastest on the street or the track. And when it comes to gearboxes they look up to the Japanese standard, namely Suzuki. Perhaps you were thinking Chinese or Korean.

Everything this guy is ssaying in this vid is not true..with 136 hp the bike is far from fast..&00 inline 4 have that much horsepower.. Ninja 1000 has 200 hp. I bet a 636 would smoke this, or a cbr 600 or any gsxr 600 or 750 and thats all under the 1000..Who this guy think we are some newbs to Moto?

The answer to your question, is ANY japanese in-line 4 cylinder. The aprilla is a very nice bike, but at Gingerman MI track, I was smoking them with an old Honda CBR 600. They could hang with me in the corners, but I'd kill them on the straights. I challenge ANYONE toprove me wrong. Besides a Honda is half the price. Italian EGO is expensive.
